Anthem donates 50 backpacks to Loaves and Fishes

As part of our outreach mission, Anthem has donated 50 backpacks to Loaves and Fishes in Ayer, MA. The backpacks will be given to students in the local community, who otherwise might not have a backpack to carry their books to/from school.

The backpacks were designed and manufactured by Anthem's Deja-Blue™ case maker. We look forward to being able to help again next year.

The Loaves and Fishes is a nonprofit food pantry that services six communities in Massachusetts.

Anthem announces A-5000 bass clarinet

Features include: range to low Eb, detachable one piece ABS body design, blued needle springs, In-line trill/jump keys with contoured spatulas, high-grade white leather pads , nickel-plated keys (bell and neck), and a heavy-duty floor peg with large rubber foot.

Final touches include heavy-duty double neck strap loops, a wood shell black leather covered case, and a plastic mouthpiece, ligature and cap made in USA by American Plating Co.

Anthem has partnered with Pro-Mark to provide top quality drumsticks with the new Anthem ASD-1 snare drum kit.

Anthem co-sponsors MICCA Institute with David French Music Co.

Anthem Musical Instruments co-sponsored the first MICCA Summer Institute with David French Music Co. on July 12 and 13, 2010.

The MICCA Summer Institute was hosted by Steve Yavarro at Hopkinton High school in Hopkinton, Massachusetts. The two day event featured some of the most prominent speakers and clinicians in music education, including Tim Lautzenheiser, Paula Crider, and Peter Boonshaft.

Many seminars were offered covering important topics such as: The Joy of Conducting, Effective Rehearsal Communication, The Importance of Role Modeling, and Connecting with our Students.

Anthem co-sponsored the event as part of their mission to give back to the local community, and concluded the event by raffling off an A-5000 4-valve Euphonium. The Anthem Euphonium was won by band director David Daquil of Melican Middle School in Northborough, Massachusetts.

Rico partnership

Anthem Musical Instruments has partnered with D’addario to provide Anthem with Rico mouthpieces and reeds for Anthem’s entire line of woodwind instruments.

Anthem Musical Instruments has announced a partnership with SKB to provide Anthem with quality cases for the Anthem line of tubas, baritone saxophones, euphoniums, french horns.
